Brugge is a delightful city in Belgium, nested
between Lille, Brussels, and Antwerp. The city is
just a stones-throw from the recently revived
sea-side town of Oostende and makes the perfect
day or weekend trip from South East England,
Northern France, Netherlands and Germany.
The city was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 2000. Much of its architecture dates back to the 15th Century and remains intact. Here is our guide to the city, co-hosted by Opal Bonfante.
